Steps to follow for a password reset:
Retrieve Persal Number:
- Confirm that the Persal Number provided is 8-digits.
Access SmartGov Solution:
- Utilize the URL to access the company's smartgov solution.
- Fill in the username and password.
- Click on the 'Sign in' button.
Navigate to User Administration:
- Click on 'Administration' in the sidebar.
- Select 'Users'.
- Search for User:
- In the 'Users' section, click on the 'Search' bar.
- Type in the Persal number or name of the user.
Handle Results without Persal Number:
- If a single result is obtained, respond to the email to confirm the Persal number.
- If multiple results are found, respond to the email and request the Persal number.
- Double-click on the user.
- Click the 'Reset Password' button.
- On the 'Password' and 'Confirm Password' text inputs, enter 'Pass123'.
- Check the box for 'Require a change of password in the next sign-in'.
Communicate New Password:
- Check the box for 'Send new password by e-mail'.
- Click the 'Reset' button.
Complete the Process:
- Log out of the platform.
